British Naval Cutlass - Props from Master & Commander Movie
Here be the perfect cutlass to carry to all those events that don't let you bring metal swords to. These are aluminum core with rubber/resin covering. Very rare to find cutlasses like these, nobody makes them commerically.
A - Here the Steel 1904 P British Naval Cutlass that we sell in the stage combat sword section of arrrr shop. It be used by the Royal navy throughout the Napoleonic Wars, including Trafalgar and the War of 1812. Weight 3 pounds 8 oz. Comes with a leather scabboard. $99
B - Here be the deluxe British Boarding Prop Cutlass. The handle has the patterned grip like the actual sword. Only a few available. Weights 1 pound 7 oz. $95
C - Here be the standard British Boarding Prop Cutlass. It has a smooth simple handle. Weights 1 poung 6 oz. $75
D - Here be a cut away version that shows the aluminum core that the rubber/resin covers. There is also a thin aluminum bar in the guard as well.

Deluxe Prop Cutlass $95
Master & Commander has the most real boarding action scene of any movie. I was able to make a real score when one of the movie prop houses when out of business n' had to auction everything.
In the fight scene with 300 men on a small 120 foot tall ship with boarding pikes, axes, muskets, swords, knives n' pistols it would be very each to get hurt. So they have to create weapons that looked real, that you could fight with but not get hurt.
